Appalachian Service Project

Metropolitan Memorial UMC faithfully has participated in the Appalachian Service Project for nearly 40 years. Each summer, a group of adult leaders and youth participants travel to a location in the Appalachian region for a time of serving, learning, and mission. We take several crews who do a variety of home repair and building projects. The ASP staff provides times of worship, cultural excursions, and team building as well. This experience deeply impacts not only the families we work with, but both the adults and youth who attend this wonderful trip.  To learn more about ASP, please contact Patrick Landau.
