Youth 4 DC Summer Service Week

July 8th - July 11th, 2024

Our youth spend their week of service learning and participating in some of the many organizations working around our city to help the local community. In addition to hard work, the youth engage in meaningful discussions around issues such as homelessness, poverty, hunger, racial justice, and our environmental impact.

This year’s Youth Service Week will take place from July 8th through July 11th, 2024, and will focus on connecting more deeply with the DC community and history. Three of four days will be dedicated to direct service, with a fourth day focused on DC culture and history (Angela is planning on a visit to the recently re-opened African American Civil War Memorial Museum).

Youth in grades 6 and above are welcome, and feel free to circulate among family and friends. The cost for the week is $100 per youth, but is capped at $200 for families with more than two youth. Scholarships are available! If you have any questions or would like to know about scholarships, please contact Student Ministries Coordinator Angela Pupino at apupino@nationalchurch.org
