College Students 

With one campus located across the street from American University, National UMC enjoys a number of exciting partnerships in ministry with college students. Through our partnership with AU United Methodists, we work to welcome students each year, provide mentorship opportunities, and connect college students with a broad worship and service community.

You can find a full list of AU ministries on the AU United Methodist’s website. In addition, there are a number of ministries that take place at our Metropolitan Memorial campus.

AU Lounge

We have a designated room below the Sanctuary available to AU students to hang out, do homework, relax, or just escape the campus for awhile. Open anytime the building is open, it is stocked with snack foods and drinks, and has free WiFi.

Free Food Friday

Free pizza for college students every Friday during the school year from 11 am-2 pm.

Monthly Sunday Dinners

Following worship at the Kay Spiritual Life center (on AU’s campus), we provide meals and socialize with AU students.
