FAQs

When should I arrive for the concert? If you are a ticket holder, please be sure to arrive before the start time of 3 pm to ensure your seat. After 3:00 pm, unclaimed seats will be made available for non-ticket holders who wish to see the show.

If I don’t have a ticket, can I still get in? We hope to accommodate everyone who wishes to attend. Ticket holders will get first priority for seating as long as they arrive before the show begins. Because a percentage of free ticket-holders don’t show, we hope to have seats available for walk-ins on the day.

How can I get a free ticket? Tickets are no longer available.

Is there parking in the area? There is ample street parking in the area, either on Connecticut Avenue or on the side streets of Jenifer or Jocelyn. Since the concert is on a Sunday, street parking is free and open to everyone.

Can I take public transportation? Yes. The nearest metro stops are either Van Ness or Friendship Heights on the Red Line (a 20-minute walk from either Metro station). Also, there is the L2 Metro bus line, which runs on Connecticut Avenue and stops near the church.

Is Jazz@Wesley accessible? Jazz@Wesley is wheelchair accessible. An elevator is available to the concert hall.

Can I bring my children? This is a family-friendly show. Children are welcome. Crayons and coloring books are available, and a playground outside the church is suitable for 2-5-year-olds.
