National UMC and our pastoral team are honored to be part of your special day.
The building use fee for weddings for non-members is $3,000 and $1,500 for members. This fee includes the use of the Sanctuary and a room for both wedding parties.
National UMC clergy reserve the first right of refusal to perform any marriage, and you are welcome to express your interest in any particular clergy. Arrangements may be made for outside clergy to perform the ceremony, however, they must be approved by our clergy beforehand.
To ensure that the commitments inherent in marriage are as strong as possible, couples being married at National UMC are required to undergo marriage counseling. Counseling is provided by clergy, but can be taken elsewhere if documentation is provided and approved by our clergy.
This fee includes the use of the Sanctuary, a room for both wedding parties, altar candles, and the organ. In addition, the fee includes the services of a building staff person for both the rehearsal and the ceremony.
The fee for clergy performing counseling and the wedding ceremony for non-members is $750. An honorarium for clergy is strongly encouraged for members of the congregation. Organist or other musicians can be arranged at an additional fee. Please contact the office for these logistics.
A deposit of $1,500 for non-members, and $750 for members, will confirm your wedding date. The balance is due thirty days prior to the wedding.
To start discussions around arrangements please contact the church office to arrange your wedding here at National UMC.
