Exploring the Revised Social Principles of the United Methodist Church
Sundays, January 11 - February 15 at 9 am.
Great Hall, Metropolitan Memorial Campus.
United Methodists believe God's love for the world is an active and engaged love, a love seeking justice and liberty. This belief is expressed in our Social Principles, a prayerful and thoughtful effort of the General Conference of the United Methodist Church to speak to the issues in the contemporary world. These principles underwent a major update in 2024. Over six weeks in January and February, the Knowing Our Story class will explore these revised social principles, led by our clergy, resident theologians, and guess presenters. An optional study guide, Social Principles of the United Methodist Church, 2025 – 2028, is available in the church office ($10 suggested donation.
