Support Jazz This Holiday Season
A Message from TIya!
Dear Supporter of Jazz@Wesley,
As the year draws to a close, we’re writing to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support of Jazz@Wesley. Since 2010, your generosity has been instrumental in allowing us to bring high quality entertainment to our Chevy Chase community.
Recently, the cost of presenting this wonderful program has been rising, causing us to raise the admission price, but even that does not fully support our monthly programs. To ensure that we can continue to offer exceptional performances, provide fair compensation to musicians, and expand the reach of our programming to a wider audience, we’re seeking your support to offset rising expenses.
Your donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact.
In addition, we are seeking your support for our Annual Holiday Show. For many years, this event has brought joy and the spirit of the season to our neighborhood. As a personal fan of Jazz@Wesley, you know how special these shows are. This year, the Jazz Committee and I seek to elevate the December 21st Holiday Show by presenting Bobby Felder and his Capitol Allstars Big Band, with vocalist Tiya!
We're returning to the beloved space of our Fellowship Hall to create that special, intimate experience we all know and love. Imagine the rich harmonies and festive atmosphere that 17 talented musicians will bring in our Fellowship Hall! Your donation will help us defray the additional costs associated with a larger band as well as help us start the new year in a better position to continue bringing excellent talents to Jazz@Wesley. We suggest a donation of $100 to support the Holiday Show, but every dollar counts! Your contribution will make a significant difference.
We know you share our passion for jazz and our commitment to creating a vibrant and inclusive community and we hope that you will continue your support of our upcoming Jazz season.
Here's how you can help us with your tax-deductible donation:
Make a check payable to National United Methodist Church and write “Jazz@Wesley” in the memo line. (Mail to NUMC, 3401 Nebraska Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20016.)
Donate when attending Jazz@Wesley. There’s a donation box at the ticket desk.
Together, we can ensure that this important program will continue to enrich the lives of our community.
Thank you for your generosity!

Why Give? Because our ticket sales cover only part of our expenses, a gift from you will help us continue to bring the best of DC jazz to the Chevy Chase community.
Part of our mission is to support the DC jazz community, so most of the funds raised through ticket sales goes to our artists and sound engineers. We also believe that the arts should be affordable, so we keep our ticket prices low.
Your gift will help us continue to put on this high-quality and entertaining evening of music. Want to nourish DC jazz? Help build joyful community? Support Jazz at Wesley today.
